The season of Advent is soon upon us, Sacred City! Advent is the season historically celebrated by the church – beginning four Sundays before Christmas (Sunday, November 30th this year).

To help you understand the meaning of Advent and the significance of this season, take time to watch this video from Pastor Joel!
During the Advent season we will briefly pause our study in Hebrews—yet continue in the same spirit of Hebrews 11. Just as we’ve been learning from the men and women in Scripture’s “hall of faith,” this Advent we’ll turn our attention to "The Characters of Advent" - Zechariah, Mary, Joseph, and John the Baptist.
Each of these characters plays a vital role in the story of the incarnation, and each offers a unique example of faith, courage, and trust in God’s promises.
